| This competition should now have ABSOLUTE PRIORITY over other midweek competitions, please. We need a winner by the end of July, to go through to the Murgitroyd semi-finals. If that means tosses of the coin, then so it will have to be, unless clubs recognise the urgency. Specifically, Drumpellier and Clydesdale and Greenock and Kelburne are still to play their first-round matches, five weeks after the deadline... that's holding up two quarter-final matches, which (with one exception) are now running two weeks behind... so all the above-named clubs should now arrange their quarter-final games on a provisional basis, as well as getting their first-round matches up the agenda! | ||||||||
